The most popular short mountain route from the mountain station. The route follows a good mountain path from Ebenalp along the Zisler on a gentle ascent to Alp Chlus and then on a long zig-zig path to Schäfler at 1924 m with its mountain top restaurant. You'll be astonished by the brilliant panoramic views that stretch far into the Swiss Mittelland and the Alpstein chain. You can return along the same path or take an alternative route via Äscher.
