Alpine hike for good mountain walkers. From the mountain station you walk approx. 300 m along the Chlusweg path to a stone wall. From there, turn left down a steep path to the signpost, then right across the flower-filled alpine meadows of Weesen and Altenalp to the Mesmer inn. From Mesmer there is a steep path that snakes its way up to Ageteplatte, an outstanding viewpoint, and from there down to Meglisalp. From Meglisalp you can either take a steep downhill path via the Unterstrich to Seealpsee Lake and Wasserauen, or take an alternative route via Schrennen high above Seealpsee directly to Wasserauen.
